Matt and Kim to the Rescue 5

Those in WA may have watched last nights episode of Matt and Kim to the Rescue. For those that have no idea what I'm talking about, Matt and Kim from 'The Block' and a team of over 200 tradies completely renovate a house for a needy family. Episode 5 saw the Hoypoys whole house completely gutted and renovated in 4 days. Mum, Sally and 14 yr old Zoe have recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cancers so this surprise could not go to a more deserving family. I was lucky enough to be a stills photographer for Channel 9 for one of the days shooting this episode. Everyone dressed in pink for breast cancer and despite the hard slog from dawn til way past dusk everyone was laughing and joking and generally having a great time. It was my job to try and document the day. Challenging as it was dodging beams, people and power cords all day I can honestly say I have not had so much fun in a long time.
